I've always thought it was quite odd that for as long as I can remember, Tax checks are made payable to a person, not the township. I just keep asking myself why ?? never been an issue.

Does anyone else pay this way ?

I have no clue. My property tax payment comes out of my escrow account.

I make mine out to name/ Duncan TWSP tax assessor . My summer tax goes to a dif errant fund. Don't get me started on summer tax.... &"@$!', $$$$$$$$$

I am the Supervisor for our Township. Make the check out to the Township that the property is located in. Also in the memo section put your property number/s that you are paying on. Your Treasurer must accept them that way.
