Prying off a dock board

I need to replace a single dock board that is very weak in a permanent dock. I tried to use a drill to "unscrew" the nails, but the nail is too far down in the board. The nails are stair shape.
Any ideas how to get this board off?

Got the board replaced, just needed to scrape out sand in the dock screw so it could be unloosened. Thanks.
No offense here, I am going to pull a frnash here, "unloosened" would be to tighten. You needed to "loosen" the screw. Kind of like the often misused term "unthaw", which would mean to freeze rather than "thaw". You have been officially Nashed. ;) Sure miss Frank and his humorous correction of grammar & thesaurus as well as his spell check. He has left an indelible mark....
