We are thining about heading to Van Riper State park next weekend for the opener of camping season. I was just wondering if the snow is gone in that area or if you would have to plow your way into a site.....Thanks!!! any pics of the area would be awesome!!
You should be good to go no plowing needed. We just got back from our camp in Ishpeming . Snow in the woods is still deep but open areas are down to grass. Next saturday they are calling for snow showers and 52 degrees.
I agree with Marty, I live in no snow and there isn't any snow in the open areas. I'm zipping by that area this evening, if I can get a picture of the woods in that area I will. I think you'll be fine.
