What happened? He really put a lot of work into the place and we always enjoyed stopping. We did not see him this winter though.

Bam Bam, or Tommy was one of the kindest guy that you would ever meet. He had a HUGE heart and loved to hang out at the bar and make sure that everyone he saw when he was there was having a good time. He was a close friend and it felt like he was like a brother that I never had. He will truly be missed and our hearts and prayers go out to the Charles family. Words cannot express the hurt and pain that we are all feeling from the loss. R.I.P. Bam Bam! We love you and we will miss you! Thanks for all the great memories!

Very shocked and saddened to hear this news. One of our groups favorite stops every sled season. Tommy possessed qualities that can't be taught or learned. He was a truly caring individual who would literally give you the shirt of his back if you needed it.

I recently read this poem about living life to its' fullest, and it sure seems to fit Bam-Bam. RIP Big Guy---you will be missed.

There are only a handful of people
That you'll meet in life
That truly touch your heart
And make you glad you’re alive
They've got a special presence
When they walk into a room
It's almost like they were sent there
To take away your gloom
They can make you happy when
Everything seems sad
So happy it almost makes you mad
They forget about their problems
And brighten up your day
And you don't realize it until
They’ve gone away
They teach us to enjoy everyday
Live life to the fullest
Laugh, love and play
Because there's no guarantee
You’ll get another day
So if you have a chance to make someone smile, don’t pass up the opportunity to make them happy for awhile
It may be their last chance and
You'll remember them and their smile.

Always the first stop when we get up there. Even before we unload. Stop for Philly cheese steaks. The first time we stopped we knew we found a great place. We stopped there on our way out of town 4 years ago and he thanked us for the business then went in the back room and came out with t-shirts a hats for free. Knew he was a stand up guy!!
