Racing with kids 120 sleds

So went to Nelson show last weekend and watch the races and I have to say the best race there was the kids. Not so much for the action but just cool to see the kids out there and the fact the my 4 year old asked if he could race next year.

So does anyone know the requirements:

Age? (he will 5 in less than a month)

Sled type? (is it just the 120s or could enter an old Yamaha Sno-Scoot 80cc)
I do not have either but it seems like the Sno-Scoots are a better investment for the amount of time they could ride them.

Rules?

Other info?

I have not even talked to my wife about this, but lets see if this is even possible first.

Where are some of the other races too?

If you PM me your name & e-mail I will get with my budd . I sold him both 120's and he had 3 kids racing. ( A few ) years back. I do believe that it is a 120cc stock motor platform. It goes by age and engine size. When his son got older he moved up to the 340 class and he still had 2 daughters racing. It did look like he had money wrapped up into the family program, rig , sleds, all kind of light weight parts , ect..... You should familiarize yourself with the website "www.recmotor.com ". The owner's name is scott I believe .

The races were all over the UP and on the weekends. There was a lot of travel and you should get your wallet filled with cash ahead of time.... but.... I can't think of anything more rewarding than getting your kids into snowmobiling ! That's just good stuff in this house.

I will send him an e-mail and try to get some fundamental info for you.
