Recoil Question

On a 2005 Polaris Supersport I removed the bolts from the recol cover but the cover won't fit to come out. Do I really hae to remove the exhaust to get the recoil cover out so I can fix my recoil rope?

probably have to remove the exhaust. It's just a couple springs, it's no big deal.

my brother has a 700 pro x and we have to pull the whole engine AGAIN to fix the recoil

Yes, You have to pull the exhaust system.
