recoil removal 02 pro x 440 fan

rope broke removed bolts holding fan cover is there a trick to getting housing cover out seems theres not enough room to clear between engine & frame i really don't want to loosen engine mounts to get out if i don't have to any tricks ?

thanks for the reply, yea i knew i had to but never know the may have been a short cut. glad it happened right off the trailer at the cabin rather than out on trail. if they had notched the frame rail about 2" could have came right out. 4 nuts on mounts and pull the pipe off wasn't hard just inconvenience.

FYI, if it does happen on trail, or away from the necessary tools, (at least on the Polaris sleds) they have a little strap that comes as part of the "tool kit", that can be used to "clutch start" the sled. No, its not a tow strap.

Had to do that this year on a trip, works great, just kind of a pain.
