Recommend Ski Doo ACE Engine/Sleds!!

Bought a brand new Ski Doo Touring ACE sled 3 years ago and could not be happier!
Very very comfortable and gas mileage is now pushing over 200 miles per tank!!

Have 1700 miles on it....


Can this sled go 10,000 miles with proper maintenance?


I am a casual driver and dont go over 40 miles per hour.

Would highly recommend this sled as I have only filled it up about 9-10 tanks total!!

X2 on this thread. I sold my sleds a few years ago because I dont go that often. The past two seasons I have rented the ACE sled from Land O Lakes Rec, and they are a nice little sled. I had one on the big storm (20" in Lando) last February and I lead our group of 5 sleds for 30 miles of breaking trail that morning and still got almost 20mpg. Then this past week I ran 440 miles in two days on one and got about 25mpg while trail riding at about 35-45mph avg. Not gonna win any lake races but a very nice all around trail sled.

I'm pretty sure that with a 4 stroke at 10,000, it is just getting broke in. The engine will be fine, just take care of all the other things and you will get a lot of years out of it.

You should get 10,000 Miles on the 1st Belt, My Wifes 1200 Gsx has over 6000 on her 1st Belt. Mine don't last that long.. I knew someone that never went over 40 and had 25,000 on an old 500.

welcome to the 4stroke world, with proper maintenance you will get lots more miles. I know guys with Yamaha 4s that have 30,000, and another that has 62,000. Your sled should do the same but you'll need to keep up on all the maintenance and repairs.
