Recommendations for lodging in Hancock area for Feb 19th

I have a group of 4 that will be in the area, looking for a decent place to stay with some good food nearby. Any suggestions? Thanks

I like the Holiday Inn, it is more modern than others. But you can't go wrong with Ramada, Super 8 or others in Houghton or Hancock. They're all good and close to food.

Whatever place still has availability should work fine. Chicagosledder named the usual choices. I tend to pick Ramada or Super 8 before the south end choices, or the Travelodge cause IMO they have better trail access.

If you're looking for a "cabin" place and not a motel you'll have to get out of town a little, but there are plenty of options again, just depends on who isn't booked yet.
