Looking at a trip out west this winter. 4 of us, son, 2 son in laws and myself. Plan to fly out and rent for about 3 days of riding. here is the best place to go? Probably late January

Check out Togwotee Mountain Lodge. Set yourselves up with a guide for either back country or trail, whatever you choose, you will enjoy it, a lot to see, a lot to experience.-Mezz

I agree with mezz, and I think they will even shuttle you to the airport. I would try for four days of riding if you could. Three days backcountry and if you have never been to Yellowstone in the winter, I would do that for a day and get your trail riding in there, you never know when that will become unavailable for snowmobiles in the future. Yellowstone 10 times more scenic in winter!

Next level riding clinics in alpine, wy. This will give you two days of riding and also teaches valuable information for riding in the mountains. This ran by pro rider Dan Adams. You will not be disappointed. They also pick you up from the airport.
