I haven't actually used them for mapping yet, but have read a little bit about it, mostly good. I know it's darn near a criminal offense to refer you to another site, but there is quite a bit of info on Dootalk.com.

Bought the red pine maps last year they were great.
Did have a few trails that were off like a power line that people were riding and not the trail.
I did have a problem with info which took a while too find out, but if you
post it, cant rember his name, but he is usually on the board and he will answer your ?.

Think snow!!!!!

I'm also considering buying this software for mine. I believe that it has some kind of updates this year on the new version?

LOVE EM!!! I have it on my 60 CSx and all you have to do is select your destination and choose to route by trail and it will give you directions based on the trail. It's really nice to know EXACTLY how far the next gas stop is.

It's worth having, i have 1( nuvi 500 waterproof ) for unusual circumstances, should we be in a smash and need the quickest way out by road, or if we start with the powerline stuff and 2 tracks and then get turned around and need a way to the closest trail, or to recove a down sled that we left behind somewhere. Like said above we also cut it close with gas and knowing where the next pump is " is a good thing ". The 1 thing I didn't care for was having to switch back n forth from trail map to street map but I'm " techno - challenged " and there might be something that I don't understand. I bought the " chip " with the upgraded maps . Good product at a good price ( IMO ). Additionally did notice a trail off in the western UP from the year before but the groomers & trail boss ( met him at Konteka ) mentioned that they changed the trail a little last year.

I just ordered the maps and put them in my Zumo 220. It's just like the Nuvi where you have to switch from the trail to street map. I'm hoping that this thing works out well. It sounds like something nice to have...especially when it comes to getting fuel.
