they are great jackets, however they haven't made them for I'm guessing 8 years, rumor has it that Scott purchased them. First gore tex jacket I ever owned, good quality
Ditto that. I love the layers and when I'm not sledding I usually am wearing the inside fleece. Yes there are plenty of pockets, sometimes I forget where my camera is.
so I got my jacket today, was not what I was expecting, it is just a shell, no liner or anything, is that normal, I guess I have never bought a jacket that is just a shell, i dont get it
What Jacket did you get? most had liners the one you mentioned for $89 at DK said it came with a zip in liner The slingshot jackets run small. I have a Reima Warrior jacket 1998 size Med which I still wear I bought a sling shot last year and needed an XL so it fit in the elbows even without the pads. Scott purchased the Reima US line several years back and changed the name and design of the line. I think the quality is still very good but the fit seems to be way off.
Some people may see it differently but Reima was 8 years ago what Klim is today not to say they didn't have some problems but the styling was classic and would not become dated in 2 years that you needed to replace it.

I have a reima gortex pullover thats just a shell. You just wear more layers on the cold days.I wear mine on warm days. Cat has coats like that but you can zip in a liner.
I have a Reima pullover which is for not so cold conditions, you probably just ordered the wrong coat for your application. No liner means it's gonna be colder in practical thinking
