Lack of snow DOES NOT mean it is OK to move off the pavement into yards. Noticed sled tracks in my lot when I got home yesterday. The patch of snow on the blacktop revealed that the riders quickly moved from bare blacktop into my exposed (and not frozen) yard. Grass churned with black dirt, nicely torn up. This was in town, no mistaking that it was a trail or something. A common complaint in town each year.
I use great care to not mess up my grass while plowing so this was some appreciated help for sure. Wife said she gave them an earful when they stopped (and considered making the same trip after turning around) so I consider it over and done....but use some courtesy folks. I reckon these same people would flip a lid if I rode my ATV in their back yard or even was just out wandering around in it without permission.
