I had the pleasure to ride with him while out in WY many years ago. Very down to earth and passionate about life and riding.

May his family find peace and comforting through this all.

I talked to him briefly at Haydays once. Seemed like a super cool dude, down to earth like you said. I was shocked when i saw it this morning. RIP

VERY SAD DAY for sure.
They say if you die doing what you love, your death is not in vain.
BUT to die in an avalanche (even if snowmobiling is your passion) is like in the top 3 worst ways to go.

I just read he had his beacon on him, but did not have it turned on. So sad, a simple mistake cost him his life. I'm blown away by this news.

I never met him, but followed his racing career. The snowmobile industry lost a great man for sure. He lived a snowmobilers dream. Twenty something years as a factory supported racer, had a snowmobile named after him, won the Jackson Hole hill climb. The list goes on. Google him up for some entertaining videos. He lived life full every day. Prayers to the family.
