Rode a bit up to sugar camp Saturday trails were good when we rode till 1, stopped home went south to peiican lake and trails were showing some wear especially on roads. Suppose to take a ride tomorrow, i know warming up, how is it sugar camp tp three lakes over to forest county? Probably going either way but any first hand knowledge or suggestions would be great. Anyone ride 12 from boom lake to sugar camp? Thanks.

We rode 12w from three lakes to Sugar camp and that trail was in great shape on Saturday. If you take 12E from Sugar Camp to TL8 through the Nicolet that is a great ride and the trail was in great shape Saturday morning. If they groomed it last night it should be in great shape today. Once you close to Hwy 70 you can decide to go towards Forest County or head back through eagle river. Did not ride in Forest County at all last weekend so not sure how those trails are.

Started in Rhinelander at 9 am headed west to 12 east through sugar camp to three lakes hit 45 s to monico down to pelican lake back up 8 to birchwood bar for lunch at noon. Mostly good trails, some just spectacular, past half dozen sleds, most trails groomed and we were first or second sleds down, inch or so snow made them look great, heard Rhinelander has two groomers in repair. Had a great ride with Ron, who i met on ride board, fun times. Sun is our enemy today, had it been Saturday and that traffic it would have ruined the trails. Need that snow predicted tonight and good riding this weekend.
