Didn't quite make it to rice lake but I rode north out of new Richmond last Saturday after the snow. Went up to Amery, over to wanderoos, up to centuria, over to balsam lake, then turtle lake, then headed back south to new Richmond. Trails were an absolute blast. Snow seemed to be thinning on the north end of my loop, but Polk county was great for local riding!
My brother and his friends have been riding out of Turtle Lake and report good conditions from there to Cumberland, Almena, and pretty much everywhere in Barron county.
