First sleds I ever bought were a pair of used 1980 Liquifires. Had a good couple years with them until one of them burned down, wish I would have just kept them.

The one I went to after the ski Doo Elans is still in the grainery my father won't hand it over!

you know what we used to do is like start from nelma or start from Phelps Lakeview Motel and then head down 17 go to 70 and then 45 I think and we would plan a route that would be a giant circular as race track and we would run the John Deere's Full Throttle and race side-by-side and all kinds of stuff it was a blast but not when anyone was around mainly at night time.... but it's a blast slot car ring them around corners and sliding everywhere never had any close calls or got hurt Major League

My siblings and I would race each other around the farm on them. Then my parents got divorced. Mom took her matching liquifier and set it on fire just to get back at my Dad, and Dad put his in the grainery and it hasn't come out since. My Dad says don't fight over the farm when he's gone, my brother and I will be fighting over that sled. So they have good memories. Like the first time on a trip to Northern Wisconsin at Lakewoods in Bayfield county. Then there's the bad memories the ugly divorce my parents went through. I still really want that sled.

Yeah what a difference from the first gen Liquifires to the second gen Liquifires! And thanks to those who came over from Merc to make it happen! The second gen was one fine ride!
