Riding w/CPAP machine

Hello to all of you. I am going on a 2-3 day snowmobile trip to the UP in early Febuary with my riding buddies. I use a CPAP machine to sleep, 20 or so years now. I am not worried amount transporting it as I ride a 2017 Pantera 7000 LTD. Storage is ample. My concern is that any residual moisture in the machine from the night before might freeze in it and cause problems. Two things I thought about to prevent this are packing those hot hands packets in the carrying case or put the machine in one of those 12v heated lunch bag things and plug it in to my passenger 12v plug in outlet. I would like to hear what other people who use a CPAP machine do when you go on over night trips while out on your sleds.

funny you ask, I use a bi-pap machine and I will admit I need it to sleep, if I don't use it its hell to pay and that's an understatement, you don't realize how much you need it until you have used it a while and don't. Anyways... I had 2 bag trips planned with venturenorth. I too was concerned about carrying it as I do not want to go without it, so I first asked my doctor and was instructed to call the company who supplies the machine and was told there should be no issues with carrying the unit, and that I should allow the unit to come to room temp before turning it on. I will be carrying mine on my back in the case it came with and in my FXR back pack, not leaving home without it

Brian that could take a while for it to get to room temp with the up coming temperatures when your up.🤪
we are just basing this time, has to cancel first bag trip due to conditions, but yes... going to be colder than a nuns unit. I like it in the mid to upper teens when I ride. At least should make for some good groom sets when they get out.
