Riser for Fusion with adjustable handlebars

I think I've asked this before, but I couldn't find it. Are there any issues with adding a riser with Polaris' adjustable steering system on a Fusion? I'd like to add say 4" - I think that would be about right (I'm about 6' 2" and the stock setting is low, particularly if I ever stand up). I think the adjustable steering already adds a little. I'm hoping I can do 4" without dealing with changing cables.

Any recommendations for a riser brand? Looks like a typical 4" riser is about $40 or so on ebay. Any site supporters that sell them? I like the rox adjustable idea also, but it's more than I want to spend for a sled this old.

Thanks.

I put one on my 2006 Switchback. I don't remember the brand but the highest I could go was 2". I'm 6'3" and really needed a to put on a 4" but, those wires are pretty tight and don't give you that much play. You could probably get a 3" in there but, again, there isn't a lot of wiggle room on the wires.
Good luck.

I had a Fusion and put on a 5 inch riser with no problem. Just had to cut the wire ties under the hood and pull them up some. Its tight, and you can't go any more, but I was able to move the bars back and forth fully in each direction as well. Loved it.

Thanks for the tips. If I did want to go longer than 4 or 5", say one of the rox adjustable 6-8" risers, what else do you end up having to buy? Extensions for the throttle and brake? Anything else? Are the electrical cables going to the hand warmers, etc. on the handlebars long enough or do you need to lengthen those also?
