Riser question

I am guessing this question has been asked plenty of times before. I have a Polaris triumph converted to an RMK. My boy wants to put a riser on it. My question is how big of a riser can I put on it without extending cables? Thanks in advance.

3" is a safe bet, 4" maybe with some re-route on cables. Or, take the clamp off the bars, hold the bars up and measure it.
