It seems like i read 1000 posts about what sled you have and how high can i go without extensions. Here is you answer. unbolt the handlebar, lift them up and high as you can and have a buddy measure. There is your answer!!

Not correct answer mike. Add: "Rearrange some lines" between the words "you can" and "have a buddy measure". This little step usually gets you 2 more inches. lol.

How High

You can go high till its 20 below and you keep asking your buddies are there hands cold and they tell you no that they are fine. You finally can't take it anymore, pull into Bergland start ripping your sled apart and find your hand warmers wires came unpluged. That was enjoyable 1 1/2 day ride, I thought I was getting soft in my old age. Always check your wires from full left to full right, they have to have some slack.

Don't forget you have to turn the bars too. When I tried puttiing a very tall riser on my Apex, it would engage the trottle when I turned left. Helped me get around corners quicker, but made me a little uncomfortable at times :) After extending the throttle cable, no more unexpected acceleration.

I have the same problem. When i turn to the left only my engine RPM goes up about 100RPM. Not worth messing with the cables to me. When I go right it doesn't affect anything. I only went 2.5 inches though. Just enough to make my trail sled more comfortable for my tallness to ride.
