Anyone remember this? Tonight it is 1968 with Jethro Tull, the Who, Yoko Ono, Rolling Stones , Taj Mahal and more. It is on WGVU. (Station is PBS and across the street from my house). To be young again!

Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus. They look so young.

I'm surprised more members didn't reply to this ? Back in the day, we went to concerts constantly. 1st concert was BoB's Cigar ( Seger ), with a band called Starz ( 75-76 ??? ), Then Rush & ??? Heart, If I remember correctly, concert tickets were $5.50, albums were about $4.99 or $5.99, I used to get a $5 a week allowance ( for work rendured of course ) and bought an album every week. Can't remember what 8 tracks were... but I joined a few record clubs .... Money meant a totally different thing back then. I used to collect concert T shirts... PR1 has me beat by going back to 1968....

All the bands are too old and I'm too young! Got to see rush fifth row for eight grade graduation then saw pearl jam at alpine two summers ago and just went to see the who at Allstate back in November. Music sounded good, but that could possibly be from all the people making clouds??? Even indoors lol I'm just kidding I love the old music and it sounds even better live in person.

Just thinking of the bands that I remember seeing, Edgar Winter, Ted Nugent, REO (12 times), Styks, Stones, Black Sabath, Pink Floyd, Johnny Winter, All the Van Zant's in various bands, Eddy Money, Pearl Jam, Molly Hatchet, Bad Company, (things are starting to blur up). Sweet, Kiss, Bob Seger, Rush, Quit Riot, Heart, Stevie Nicks, Outlaws, ZZ Top, Santana, AC/DC, Aerosmith, CCR, Deep Purple, Bachmann Turner Overdrive, George Thorogood, Huey Lewis, Steppenwolf, Mott the hoople, Devo, Blonde, Pat Benetar, Rod Stewart (in the 70's), Juice Newton, Rolling Stones retirement tour in 1980 at the Silverdome, (blurring up big time) Ozzfest, Triumph, Cheap Trick, Skynrd, and many more that I do not remember so well. Oh and the Beach boys, Donna Summer, and..... and.... Dang, I been to a few concerts. Oh, and Shaggy so I'm told. Also last summer seen some up and coming bands such a Wayland.

Jeezz lotta concerts and all the music that I listen to now haha. Wish some of those bands still toured. Nugent grew up in my town and he comes back to play at the local bar often
