I'm going to run the Rock River from Watertown to Lake Koshkonong tomorrow, any trouble spots, expecially thru Fort ? Also how is the Crawfish river?
Thanks,, Bruce
I haven't been on the river in 2 weeks. But 2 weeks ago it was the most froze I've ever seen it. We even parked on the river in downtown fort by the Dugout. I am sure it hasn't lost any ice. Not sure if you know, but now you get off the river on the east side of the river above the dam and get back on by the train tressel bridge below the dam behind the meat plant.
Also been a couple weeks since I've been on the crawfish, but no issues getting up to The Shamrock or whatever it's called now. I guess people have been driving up the dam if you stay on the river past the Shamrock, though I haven't been up there.
Had a plane thrill us. We were on the Rock river between the Lake Koshkonong and hwy 26 bridge and a plane came over the bridge and swooped down right over our heads. Pretty cool. …
