Arrived in Rockland Sunday(12/18/16)evening. -12 degrees. rode to Bruce Crossing and back to Rockland. Trails were amazing! Next day, Monday, we rode from Rockland to Mass City, Twin Lakes, South Range, Houghton, Eagle Harbor and Copper Harbor. Trails were amazing except for one stretch of 13. We were the first ones on groomed trails for about half the way. Same for return route back to Rockland. More snow from Twin Lakes to Copper Harbor. Tuesday, went from Rockland to Bruce Crossing for breakfast. Snow was much thinner than Sunday evening. Then went to Twin Lakes, South Range, Houghton, Eagle River, Gay and back the same way we came. Trails still excellent. Brockway Mountain was Beautiful! As was Eagle River View of Lake Superior with the waves crashing against the ice piles. Great trip! Was able to load some pics. The first 2 are from Monday the 19th and are north of Houghton. The next 2 are from Sunday the 18th and are between Rockland and Bruce Crossing. There were many more showing the same great conditions.
