Rockland/Paulding late FEB

Going to try a late feb ride with a couple friends. Looking at either Paulding or Rockland. I know we are talking a long ways out but do you think that 20 or 30 mile difference would matter as far as snow condition? Also would one area be a little better then other as far as options to ride out of? Running Bear and Peppermill are what we have our eyes on if that matters leaning towards runningbear.

Historically more snow the further north one goes, all depends on weather between now and then.

Typically late feb is a safe bet to anywhere north of Rhinelander! If we do not get any major melts just pic one of the 2 and have a ball.

Would a ride to the tip of the kewanaw be to hard of a day from paulding as opposed to rockland. I have never been west if big bay area...have 4 days of riding planned and going to need to make resevations today or tomorrow and planning on riding Porkupines, Gogibic, and would like to do most of Kewanaw if possible...again thanks for the help.

Riding from here to Keweenaw is something guests do all the time, it is a long day but totally doable. We are right in the middle of everything so you can easily ride/see everything. We're more than happy to give you some good directions and direct you to some awesome things to see

That run is also very doable in 1 day. It is about 200 miles round trip. We are also centrally located to everything.
