Rode with my 5 year olds for the 1st time this weekend

We were up a bit north of Eagle River this weekend at a relative's house on a small lake up there. Rode with each of my kids - oldest is 8 and 5 year old twins. 5 year olds rode for the 1st time, with me and on a 120. Had an absolute blast - so much fun to see them enjoying it and figuring it out. Weather was actually fine for what we were doing. Snow held up on the lake and on the trails around it. Surprised when going to town to see people riding on the dirt there.

One of my relatives has a 900 Doo. I was surprised how much I liked it. One thing that was neat was that when I rode with one of my 5 years old in front of me, the machine is so quiet we could have a conversation while riding. When I rode it alone, I was surprised how much pull it had, at least up to 60 (didn't have any more room to stretch it out). Chassis feels really solid too.

Hoosier that is awesome. I have six kids and all have rode the same 120 sled. Many hours of enjoyment for them and me watching them. I have my first grandchild and can't wait until he is ready to ride the 120. It will be pretty cool seeing my grandson riding the same little sled his Mom rode as a kid.

Love it. Had my 3 yo grandson in front of me this weekend for about 35 miles in 2 days. The smooth 160HP Apex put him to sleep.
I think I need a kid harness.

Hoosier glad to hear it all worked out for you and your family!!! I thought you would fine as where you would be riding not on the trail system. And yes the 900 Ace Doo is a real sleeper. Pulls hard. Bought one for my wife, but I dearly enjoy every ride on it. Great high mile trip sled. It's heading for Ontario soon!
