Rodgers versus Cutler comparison

Saw this stat in the Chicago Tribune today.

Cutler had his best season ever this year, with a QB rating of 92.3.

Rodgers had his worst season ever this year, with a QB rating of 92.7.

Cutlers best is not even as good as Rodgers worst. Interesting.

And yes, I am a Green Bay fan, and no, I don't think they are going far in the playoffs.

I never could quiet understand why the bears loved Cutler so much. I never saw great potential in him - he seems to make a lot of mistakes right at the wrong time. We (as packer fans) have been really fortunate to have such great QB's back to back and I don't take that lightly. Rodgers is off this year - no doubt - and we can say for a lot of reasons. I will still back him and hopefully he finishes strong and play like he did against the redskins.

Yessssssss cutler makes mistakes but as a bears fan he has flipped 180 he has some very good qualities and has come a long long way in just one year with fox. Honestly how can u expect someone to get better tho when they have had crappy coaching and switch coaches so many freaking times. But the Un denialable facts are that he is a calm qb in the pocket he does take his time and for the most part makes good decisions I think that he has a good future and is becoming a darn good leader for the bears. Cutler can get better has lots of talent but 33 so not much more time for him to be #1 QB ..he will be an excellent #2 for someone in the near future. Maybe the Bears.... maybe some other team. Anything is possible with Pace making deals.

"Rodgers versus Cutler comparison". I am not a "fan" of either of them, however IMO, there is No Comparison. Rodgers by far is a true team leader.-Mezz

He is not a leader. When things are bad he is sulking on the bench.
Also with new coach he might.... next year..... excuses excuses. Kind of like Cub fans....
If they get him cheap (because he it not worth any where near what he is being paid now) keep him as second string.
Maybe one more year of starting to prove once and for all when the chips are on the table, cutler will find a way to let you down.
