group of families coming up over MLK weekend and was curious if the little bar about 20 miles in on 109 is open yet? nice pit stop. thanks.

Love the shims under the pool table and that the floor slopes to the John. Easy to roll downhill to the toilet in a pinch! Good place to stop.

So besides the great atmosphere and the food and drinks, I have 2 other favorite things about this place. Once I pulled up in the evening last year and parked in the side/back like normal, and there were domesticated ducks roaming around in the backyard, in the dead of winter! Another time there was a locals "car" parked out front, but it was more like a vintage minivan front end with a pickup truck style extended cab, behind that it was like a stake bed. Got a little closer and saw a galvanized stove pipe sticking out of the roof of the extended cab roof, with smoke coming out of it. Got a little closer, and behind the drivers seat in the cab was a little wood stove with a mellow fire in it! Fresh wood in the stake bed. Unforgettable! Awesome!

lots of memories there, can't imagine what I don't lol, love the place, not so sure they love us :), wish I was there right now, I;d ring the bell
