I'll ask for those of us who aren't blessed to live in the UP.....someday though.

What the heck is it?

I'm assuming it's some sort of heater but looks like a nice smoker to me.

it's a yooper smoker grill for deer, possum, coon and other small vermin. It turns vermin into delicious gourmet meats, it's really good!

Seriously , what the heck is it?

Feel like I'm a private again at ft Riley being sent out to check the tanks armor for soft spots with a hammer.
Maybe some chemlite batteries too.

Lenny,I will make sure we take pictures this weekend. These good old boys don't have a clue what a gasification solid fuel boiler is. That boy does have a good looking outdoor stove and wood shed . It also sounds like he found a good bride.:)

it's not a gasification, classic makes one but it looked like it had to many bells and wistles and not out to long , I didn't want to test it for them plus 3 k more , this one is just like john's

Your set up looks great. Sorry ,Lenny and I were jumping in on your post. I have a feeling Lenny will be posting some pics of a gasification boiler next week.

rp7x,

How much wood does Deb split, stack and deliver with you each year? I could never do it, plus I don't think she weighs 100 lbs!

I was just asking because I thought I heard that it was going to be mandated that all boilers would have to be gasification by a certain year, maybe that year has not come yet or maybe I misunderstood.

Very nice Steve, it looks real good, everything does. If work slows down I could live there that wood shed .
