Rush Engine temp

I can't seem to get the engine temp to display on the instrument cluster by cycling thru with the mode sw. According to the owners manual I should be able to display the actual engine temp. Checked with the dealer and the way he interpited the serv manual he thought there wasn't any eng temp that would show up on the display. The way the owners manual states on pg 30, 1st paragraph, it clearly states eng temp can be selected on the display. Anyone else have this happen??

I know my 06 poo had it. I cant believe they would drop that feature it was nice. If the function is still the same keep in mind that the thumb switch on the handle bars toggles the dash pod display back and forth between 2 different features and the dash pod can also be changed between modes giving you several options.

Try toggling down. My 06 RMK does a whole set of different things toggling down instead of up. I even found I can have Red or blue lights on the gauge. Play with it till you break it.

No matter how hard you play around you are not going to find the temperature, they changed their mind and went to an idiot light for "to hot"......

you're right swampcat-no clock, and you're suppose to be able to access the display by momentarily by going to the start mode with the kill switch off, this is supposed to power up the display for 90 sec, this don't work either. I can do with out the clock, but I really got used to using the temp display on my 09 SB.

Blah!

What are they thinking? It is dissapointing to hear they get rid of very useful functions. The engine temp is what I watch all the time when out riding, not that I'm worried about it, but it's interesting after a while you see engine temp patterns with the different types of hard pack, fluff, high\low air temp, riding hard\easy, watch it warm up in the morning, etc. Do they still have altimeter and air temp options?

You say, What are they thinking? There not! I've been a loyal Polaris fan for years but the guy's at Polaris, well all I can say they're just getting cheap! I know things are tough but come on guy's you may have saved a buck or two by losing the temp feature but how much did you really save when your getting a bad rap from all your loyal customers bitching.
