Rush suspension set up

Just wanted to see what settting rush owners are finding works best for them on the suspension. I am a 195lb. rider without gear and I am using the following settings: added 2 clicks to front shocks, rear spring set at 195, clicker for rear shock dialed all the way down and front track shock at stock setting. My next move is to add a quarter turn to rear spring to help the front end stick in the corners and take a couple clicks off the front track shock to make a little less harsh. Again just looking for some comparisons from riders and machines. I am running this set up on a 2011 800 pro r.

Wish I could give you some advice on your set up but I just picked up my 2011 800 pro r two weekends ago. It hasn't seen snow yet and I can't wait to get on it. I upgraded from a 2005 Fushion and I must say this sled sure is pretty. Have you taken your sled out yet? If so, any pros or cons would be appreciated. Here's to hoping this heat wave doesn't last long. Keep the rubber side down!

My suggestion

I love my 600 Polaris Rush! I found that you should weight yourself with full gear and add 5lbs. The rest depends on the snow conditions!

2011 600 Pro R (no studs, stock carbides)

I'm 195lbs without gear also.

I like the rear spring set on 190lbs best, rear shock 3 clicks from softest, front shocks at 6 clicks.
Only got about 300mi on it so far, but this is the best I found so far. No darting but corners great on hard or semi loose snow. Doesn't bottom but doesn't chatter on the smaller bumps. That's my .02.

emt647, I was told by my dealer that for 2011 you are to set the weight for no gear and no beer - meaning only your weight so I hope I was informed correctly. Mattymoo, I too owned a 2005 fusion and mine was the 900 version dont even get me started on that sled. Anyways I have just over 400 miles on my 800 Rush and love it. I am amazed at how you can go from lifting the skis up to having the front end stick in corners with such small adjustments of the rear spring. You will like the handling and the performance is good too. The best I was able to get was 111mph last weekend on near perfect conditions. I am just trying to find the balance between being too light in the front end and too stiff in the rear of the sled. 900RMtank, are you getting any front end push with the setting you mentioned? There may be a difference between the 600 and 800, if i set the rear spring less than my weight the front end feels too light and does not corner as I would like.

I'm on my second RUSH, I put 4,000 mi on last year. The trouble I had at first, I just kept ridding & wouldn't take the time to make any adjustments. When making adjustments to the rear spring, go at least 20-25 lbs, if then the ride is not what you like, adj in the other direction. When you get close you'll then notice a 5-10 lb change. The same with the front spring & clickers. The sled is extremly sensitive to rider input.
