Surprising how fast things can change. Wasn't too long ago and there was virtually no ice to see.

Well that sucks. I thought you were gonna be talking about the rain though. Thats a double suck. Can't believe it can be 30 plus below zero and 2 days later be 45 degrees....

Sandylake, sand as in like sugar? as the snow on trails get when the snowfall doesnt replenish what high traffic does to it? i hope not, lets all hope the snow machine doesnt grow skin, outside of the warm weather we have coming, that would be a serious detrament to a season that was starting to look as it was turning around.

The snow has been blown to the point it's hard. 4 inches fresh, I'm riding!

ok good, have been there when due to traffic and low replenishment of fresh snow the trails become the consistency of sugar, heading up in 2 weeks, don't think day and half or so of warm going to change things too much and johns 5 to 10 day potential still looking good for the north woods
