Need to register my sled and can't find the vin number on the motor can anyone let me know where to find it please and want to change the chain case oil what kind do you suggest to use

I see that you are new to the site, welcome, FYI these posts really belong in "Misc" not under "Ask John". As far as your VIN, It wouldn't be on the motor, it should be stamped in the tunnel somewhere, usually the right side, but then again, this is a Yamaha. LOL, JK!-Mezz

I know that the vin is on right side but there is one on the motor need it to register sled I'll start putting questions on misc thanks

Bobby I have this sled also live in Morrison...If you lift up the clutch guard and look at the motor between the primary and secondary clutches you should see the engine S# located on the motor approximately between the 2 clutches. Hope this helps
