Saber Cat 500 Questions

I have 2 2004 Saber Cat 500's. Sled A has 400 miles, Electric Start and Mech Reverse. SLed B has 10000 miles nor Elec Start or Rev. Here is my question/Issue: Sled B goes about 7 miles per faster and get about 3 mile per gal more than Sled A. I had the complete fuel system cleaned and adjusted last year on Sled A. Would the Elec Start and Rev make that much differnece in Preformance?

Thanks

E-start and reverse do add a little weight, and the mph difference is not suprising. I dont know if you have run them side by side at top end or not, but a few MPH indicated could be error in the speedos, one high or one low. They are hardly ever accurate. The fuel milage diff. is a problem though. they should be a lot closer than that. One is dragging more than the other, check track tension and belt width, clutch alignment. I dont think the final drive ratio is different between them, but might be worth a look. The dealer should have those specs.
