One death is one to many. If the 55 mph law saved one life, then it's worth it.
No one will know for sure if the 55 law is the cause of the decline or not, but it looks good to see a decline in deaths, and not the other way around.

My guess it was due to less snowmobile traffic.This recession sucks and its not over by any means.Inflation now running six percent reported (actually much higher) and flat salary or negative salary growth.
 
We have seen huge traffic the last few years due to the amount of snow we have received, good for the local businesses. with that said that means the traffic isn't concentrated in huge numbers.
The snowmobile age group is getting older too, can't afford to have an accident:confused: I'm still young at heart:D
