Nice bunch! Love catching Bluegills. Scrappy and usually hungry. We found a couple of spots on the river this fall where we can just sit on em' and have a blast. Usually wind up keeping 10 - 15 for eating. About 3 - 4 makes a good meal for the two of us so we get several meals out of a trip.

Fall fishing is kind of special. It's quiet, scenic, and a great way to wrap up summer. Here's some fall stuff from our season.

Leaving Lac La Belle in late Sept. after trout.

One angry Catfish and a nice Smalley caught in late October on the St Croix River near home.

Here is a beautiful buck steelie I caught thanksgiving day in the northwoods on a Lake Michigan trib. The next pic is my biggest brown ever caught a couple days later on a Lake Superior trib. The reel is a 5" diameter and the rod handle is 18" to give you an idea of actual size. It was a spawned out female.

Almost brought home a sled, but 24 sauger/eye made it a worthwhile trip.
