Side-by/Sno-mo incident can anyone verify?

I was told there was a situation near the Mosquito Inn on trail #3 where sleds encountered a side-by. Don't know when or any other details other than I was told the DNR ticketed the side-by. One of the sledders had a go-pro for I.D. of side-by. That's all I know and I haven't heard anything probably because it didn't result in any personal injury accident. Glad it didn't end in a crash but I was told something about the sleds having to ditch to avoid an accident. If you know if this is true, please post. Just want to verify the story. Thanks

Eau Claire news had an article about a guy from New Richmond that was hit by a car and med flight took him a way with a severe leg injury. This was near Ontonogan.
