Anyone have any feedback on these Side Kick Ice Scratchers ?
I'm looking at the single one to mount on r/hand side only and wonder how well they work.

My wife has them on her sled. They work well. They do not kick up as much snow as the spring /wire ones but they can handle driving in reverse multiple times with no problems. You would get only half of the snow kicked up if you installed only one??

I just picked up the new version of the Slidekicks called Duraflex Scratchers. They are an improved version of the Slidekicks. I will be using then this season. As Wak said, I have read that they work pretty well. I have also read that the left sided ones had some problems with the tip coming loose and that this doesn't happen on the right side. The new Durflex Scratchers have supposedly solved this problem.

I have run them for 3 years and love them. put a pair on, one side??? sure they sell them that way but slide kicks put up less ice then wire so use 2. besides changing 1 hyfax and not the other more often makes no sense. I run with mine down all the time. Backing up destroys wire scratchers fast and when do you back up??? gas islands, parking lots? etc. also the same places you would want your scratchers down. Amazing what slidekicks have to endure and they hold up faily well. The companie stands behind them very well and replaced a set of mine for free when one came apart from the crimping.
