Here are some pictures from a recent trip to Silver Bay / Finland Minnesota on the North Shore. We went on December 26th - 28th of 2008. Snow was good, temps were about 32 degrees, pretty good riding.
The first image is on the Moose Run Trail North of Silver Bay, this was our first day with the group of four!
The second day my wife and I headed north farther, here is a picture of the north shore trail north of finland!

We had lunch at the Trestle Inn, great food!
We rode the tomahawk trail to the timberwolf trail to ride the powerlines.
Rode thru the Moose Walk Trail on the way back to Silver Bay, great view!
There was pretty good snow!
Great weekend, looking forward to heading up again soon!
