i see there is a gas station in white pines, just wondering if there is gas available in silver city, thanks.

I don't think so, but White Pine is just a few miles down the trail. Gas is available at Konteka in White Pine.

Been a while but no more that 6 maybe 8 miles tops from Silver City to Konteka

We got fuel at the American Inn in Silver City last Friday. I think it was $3.79 a gallon, but they had fuel
