Haven't been to UP in a while, are there any places to eat or fuel up in silver city? last time was there was no fuel stops and think porky's was the only restaurant. Also wondering if anyone knows how far the good snow conditions extend and if there is good riding conditions from Berglund area to Winchester Wisconsin area, heading up with my son next week.

Definitely gets thinner down in Winchester area but the snow gets thicker heading north... Biggest issue will be trail conditions as increased traffic in the area is tough for groomers to keep up... Gas is available in Bergland and located just south of silver city in White pine Konteka has both food and gas...

We just got back from that area.
Trails were good from Minocqua Wisconsin to Silver City and all the way to Copper Harbor. The farther North you head the more snow you will hit. We left the area on Friday and got around 24" while we were there and it snowed a lot since.
NO gas in Silver City but you can gas in White Pine (Konteka). Restaurant there as well.
Only place to eat in Silver City is at the AmericInn but the restaurant doesn't open till 5:00 pm. If you are staying at the AmericInn they have a nice breakfast bar from 6:00--10:00 am
