Haven't been up this way in a few years, last time was through there wasn't many places to stop other that and I believe it was named porkys at the americ inn. have any new places opened up and are there gas stops there?

Only place I know of to stop in Silver City is the AmericInn, they have a bar restaraunt in the motel. No gas for many years now in Silver City. Closest gas will be at White Pine (south of Silver City, down trail 1 I think) at the Konteka.

As wiharley02 said, your only option is really the Konteka in white pine. Plenty of room, nice bar, good food and gas...what more do you need? That's where we stop whenever we are in the area.

I give the konteka the thumbs up also, good food and drinks, nice not having to drive to your room....

Porkies in Silver City is almost done updating. Food is pretty good. Konteka food is pretty good too. It is the closest gas to Silver City. Konteka is for sale now if someone is looking for a new adventure. I'm curious if anyone has tried Antonio's in White Pine?

There's an Antonio's in Berglund, been there for several years. But I thought the White Pine location closed. FYI, the food in Berglund was pretty good.

Antonio's in white pine did shut down, it is now open again under a new name (forgot..), stopped a couple of times and the service and food was great.

off topic but does anyone know the snow conditions in white pine/silver city? I think white pine got a good hit mid dec but no web cameras-silver city cam stuck on something-heading near there friday,
