Correct me if I am wrong but I believe it is trail 12 that heads east from rockland towards silver mountain, a good part of this trail is a seasonal road and don't remember if it was last or the year before but the road was heavily plowed due to logging in that area,and was difficult to get sled into some snow for cooling and lube. Does anyone know if this is the case this year or not or am I thinking of the wrong trail and does someone have the correct info and conditions, any input would be greatly appreciated, Thank You.

Yes 12 is mostly a plowed road but usually full groom on the shoulder unless something has changed recently. I do remember the conditions you mentioned but that was years ago.

We rode this earlier this year. As you said, it was all plowed last year. This year there was only a short section plowed, but it had plenty of snow cover to ride. This was the last week in Jan., so can't say what it's like now.
