Just went with a friend and test rode one.Very fun little sled , not going to win many races but if you are someone that likes to go riding and enjoys seeing some stuff this is perfect . It is going to replace the fan cooled stuff . 0 to 60 mph is a hoot with 80 mph about tops , mpg is very good

Marquette powersports has one in there rental fleet. You can come and demo the sled before you buy one from us. There very quiet and great sled. prev post is right on for speed.

Starting to hear people talking about ACE since test riding. They seem to like a lot. Doo fans are dead ACE doing that well.

Thanks for the input guys. It sounds like a great sled, I called around and there more money for the ski-doo then the either three brands. Plus

I was talking to someone that has a 4stroke AC and said that you do not have to use the brakes as much, because soon as you let off the gas it slows down. Like a engine brake. Is that true with the 600 ace 4 stroke?

Don't know about ACE 1st hand but no one said that engine braking was an issue that I talked too that rode ACE. 1200 Doo does not have severe engine braking either most new 4s relive the engine braking via clutch or pressure release from engine. Me I like engine braking on my Yam 150 use it to enter a turn then come out hot on power & never hit brake. You should ride 4s power delivery is very different than 2s much broader pull not peaky like 2s. Rumors are 2012 Yam is coming out with new less expensive 4s hotter than 60 HP ACE to replace Phaser.

I've given some thought to the Ace Renegade for my wife for next yr. We'd also get the 1+1 seat for it as she has a couple yrs left with kids behind her. Then it might become one of the kids sleds. I would love to test drive one though, does anybody know of a dealer near Duluth that is allowing test drives?

new yamaha

Well that new yamaha will probs be over $10,000.00 hahaha!!! Yeah, however you could buy a 550 fan for tops $6,500.00 you won't be able to find an Ace anywhere for less than $8,500.00 next year..?? That is a TON of dough for an "entry" level sled. You will get less and less people "entering" at that price. We shall see, if it goes 80, thats the same as a 550 fan, and with the increased milaege, then it should be a great motor and great sled. Just tough to swallow $2000 in one year for similar power... 2012 sleds should be interesting, isn't there a whole new platform coming from Ski-Doo? I hope its a bit more rider forward than the XP.. not as far as the rev, but more than the XP... Time will tell I guess

I think what you want is the Rush pro-ride much further forward than XP but nowhere near old rev. Try sitting on a Rush you probably like it.

R-Motion

just seen the new rising-rate suspension for 2012. I think I'm going to snowcheck a NEW 2012 MXZ TNT 600 ACE with the r-motion for the wife. I just hope I dont break the bank,
