Ski doo 800r powertek 2007

The good, the bad, and the ugly comments please. I have heard many different opinions on this motor. I'm considering buying a Summit with 1400 miles on the original 800R motor that has never been apart. I have heard Ski Doo had crank issues this year with the 800R. I have also read that if the motor makes it past 500 miles it might be a good one. Any comments are appreciated.

I did have a 2008 800r which was the same motor but a few updates. I had 7400 miles on it without a problem. I never even had the carbs cleaned just always used premium and used sea foam. I did buy an extended warranty on it the warranty was up so that is why I did sell it. Truthfully even though I did have great luck with it I would not buy a used one. Go on DooTalk and you will get a lot of information on them.
