Ski Doo 900ACE; how do you like yours?

I spring ordered 900ACE Renegade for my wife. How ever I had concerns as to power, handling, front end weight. From what we've been able to ride it has been nothing but a pleasant surprise in all aspects. No issues with any of my concerns. Plus mpg looks to be low 20's. We put on high miles, long trips. This appears to be the perfect sled for us. It is not a racer, but very strong to 65/70. Have seen 90 on both speedo and GPS. What are your experiences?

We've heard nothing but GREAT reports from our customers on the 900 ACE. Can't find any at this point! haha! I'd love to hear more about the longevity. Where are you riding? Are you able to go off trail at all or does the weight make that difficult?

Have only been around home, farm country. How ever fields had 3 to 12 inches depending corn or bean stubble. Was able to find 3 to 5 ft fluff along and behind ditch banks, fence rows, and wind break lines. This thing handles unbelievable in fluff. It just stays up on top. We didn't think the 3 modes were needed, but have been very useful.

Only about 100 miles and half tank of gas so far but I am really glad I bought it , the r-motion is so good I wish I had bought the TnT instead of the renegade as I dont ride off trail

Just shy of 300 miles on my 900GSX and no regrets on the purchase!

Smooth, quiet, easy on fuel-22mpg average so far.

We just built our 900 GSX and our whole sales staff had to go test it out for a quick "break in period" haha. It was VERY impressive! We can't wait to get a customer on it and let them enjoy it too. So great to hear those stories.

Got my 900TNT Thursday(Merry Xmas to me) and I love it! Guess you folks aren't having as much fun as I am though; my first 85mi only returned 14mpg. that was in sport exclusively and on 2 to 4" fresh snow. Went for a short ride today and saw 95 on the speedo on a hard (but snowy) road. Fuel consumption seemed better today also, breaking in perhaps? This is my eighteenth sled and by far the best.

I picked up a 900 Renegade on the 20th and have about 200 miles on it. I am very happy with it, quiet, great gas mileage, and handling. It feels light, (easy on the body). A great sled for us older guys, I'm going to like this one.

I'd like to test ride one of these. I never liked Doo's for some dumb reason, but it sounds like this engine might hard to beat for the combination of decent weight, gas and oil economy, long-term reliability and decent performance. It might be the 1st engine to do all of these for a long-mile trail rider who rides off-trail occasionally...

Yup, you really should make an effort to test one of these. I've only got 300 miles on mine (900 ACE Renegade) so far but it is simply amazing how quiet and easy to ride this thing is. My fuel mileage is pretty similar to what is posted above and just like my 600 e-tec, the engine performance is spot-on. Great machine. About the only down side is it doesn't have the totally digital gauge like the X package but I can get along fine with the analog speedo and tach anyway. The R-Motion is also amazing.

I bought it for the wife but I can tell you I will be trading the the '11 600 X on another one of these next year. Awesome sled. Ski Doo got this one right.

My wife has around 600 miles or smiles on her GSX and just loves it. 20 mpg and top speed in the 90 on the lake. The sled is quick to 70 and trail rides in the 50 to 60 range with great ease. She said it's the best sled she has ever rode. She is coming off a 600 TNT. This sled is light and a great trail sled. I will be looking for BRP to come out with a X model renegade for next year and I will have one. Pit Out
Ps she has been running it in the standard mode. The sport was spinning the track . Other thing I only have 28 studs in the track to cut down the rotating mast.

About 20 to 30 miles on standard(very cold morning), the rest on sport. Since then two more fills, both 19.1,sport exclusively and riding normally(fairly fast, lots of rail grades around here).
