Ski-Doo break light questions?? Help!

Everything was fine when I put sled in the trailer on Wednesday.

Today I get sled out and the break light isn't working. Plus the little red light on the tach doesn't come on when the brake lever is pulled like it should.

I looked at the bulb and it doesn't look bad, but that doesn't mean it isn't.

Will the red light on the dash not come on if it is simply the bulb being bad?

Your switch on the brake lever is probably froze.

Those switches go bad once in awhile too.

X2 on both of the above. I believe the dash light should illuminate when the brake is applied, regardless of the bulb (in the taillight) being burned out or not.

Agree with above. Just replaced a broken tail light in an '05 REV. Dash light came on even though the bulb was broken.

Good call!! After changing the bulb that was not bad and cracking the tail light lens, I read your post and hit the switch with a heat gun for a couple seconds on low and all is good now!!
