Ok guys and gals, I am looking to clutch a 2007 mxz 800ho Blizzard 121" track. sled is bone stock. Doesnt run bad now but i am looking for a little something. I mainly trail ride but like doing some "rookie" drag racing on the lake or fields every now and then. Looking for some suggestions and ideas please. I want something reliable and not a belt eater as well. Any help would be greatful. Any thoughts? Had a trail ported, piped, picked, clutched 670 that would rock for an old sled. Now i got the smoother ride 800 that i want a little more from.

I would suggest Dynamo Joe or Bill Cudney. I lean Joes way myself but you can not go wrong with either of them. Great service and product.

Guys, thank you for the inputs, I have heard a lot of good things about Cudney from locals arround here as well. Still looking,and researching. Anyone with any input please comment. Am totally open minded here. Has anyone lined up with another sled stock and then after the clutch kit was installed?

is your sled studded? when putting the power to the track you'll want to look at all the options. If your not studded I can't see the point of improvment, It would be like having a bad <font color="ff0000">•</font><font color="ff0000">•</font><font color="ff0000">•</font> drag car and not putting the proper tire on to hook up out of the hole. My .02 Skidoos are already clutched pretty good out of the crate.

Find Dynamo Joe over at Dootalk. Tell him what you have and he will set you up just right. I fyou haven't already, you will have to stud that ride to make her go. You probably won't get too much additional top end out of your clutch, but you sure will get there faster.

I ran a Dynamoe kit in my Renegade600, and so dod my brother in his MXZ600. Drastically improved out of the hole and mid range performance. Without a super high engagement. The secret to Joe's kit is the helix.
Guys, Has anyone ever gone with a built secondary in lieu of building the primary. I was at sno motion this past weekend and a guy is remachining secondaries. He says you get crazy responce out of the hole and about 3 miles an hour faster top end. I will have to find his card and put his info on here. Anyone done this?

You can always play wiht the secondary, but remember it doesn't start spinning until the primary engages (and it only reacts to how the primary engages)....
