Ski Doo grips won't stay on high setting

2015 Ski Doo GSX 600 Etec SE with 500 miles. When setting the grips to the highest setting, after 5 seconds the settings bar graph drops to about half.
They still have heat but more like a medium setting. Everything else on the sled works fine.

Called my dealer and they haven't heard of this problem and they're at least 1 1/2 weeks out on service.

Anyone ever run into this problem?

Is this at idle or while riding? Owners manual states power to heated grips will only be at 50% at less than 2000 rpms.

Problem solved... it was -10 the other night and I was getting cold when I noticed this - forgot that after a few seconds that gauge defaults to the engine temp gauge!
