The hand warmer on our 04 gsx got a blister on it --got real hot- and quit on one side. Thinks I've heard these factory ones are a problem. So I want to do the repair, but it's confusing catalogs want to sell all including switches etc,I just want replace them using the same wiring and switch.Any one have input

agreed with the dekx. one of mine went out on my 06 last year, went to the dealer and picked up an updated one, and changing them were pretty simple. have 1000ish miles on with the updated one with no problems

I just replaced my right hand grip on my Renegade. I just used the factory grip. I also did the same thing last year, It seams that the Ski-doo grips are not the best. There are a lot of people that use the Hot grips brand and they seem to like them. If you do go that route buy the 3 wire kit that they sell, you just wire them in to the same location as the factory grips.

For those that installed the factory grip - how did you get the wires from the old grip out of the electrical plastic connector by the center of the bars?

You need a small screw driver blade one of those miniture types, slide it in the connector an pull the wire when you get it right they pop right out!! Good luck.
